by Clair on August 11, 2009

Even when not in season, you can purchase frozen berries relatively cheaply to make this delicious smoothie. Frozen berries cool down the smoothie, making it the perfect summer breakfast on a hot day.

Mixed Berry Smoothie Recipe Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries etc)
  • 1 tbsp yoghurt
  • 200ml milk (you could use full cream, skim or soy milk)
  • 1 tsp honey

Mixed Berry Smoothie Recipe Method

Place ingredients into a blender or into the stick blender cup and whizz until juicy and combined. If you have any mixture left, or if you want you can make extra, then freeze left over smoothie mixture in ice block moulds.
